Step 2a - BEST OPTION - Select niche / content which already interests you and where you have knowlegde. This way, you will have an advantage over a lot of other people doing the same. Also, this way you will have some fun doing this (don't worry, after you have created one or two sites on the subjects you know, you have enough experience to create some off-subject sites).

Step 2b - Select niche / content related to popular keywords
- Top 500 searched internet keywords compiled from a database of over 300 million search terms extracted from popular metacrawlers.
- Lycos Top 50 - Top 50 from Lycos
- Yahoo top 20 - Top search words for different words with movers and shakers
- Dutch Top 100

Step 2c - Select niche / content related to high paying adwords
- List of the top paying keywords when using AdSense or similliar pay-per-click advertising models. This list does not seem to be updated though.
